China Rising
On Saturday, March 15, 2008, the Winston House Alumni Seminars program brings its inaugural seminar to London. China Rising will examine the impact of the rise of China on the west and include talks by Carolina faculty and academic partners at Chatham House and the Blackstone Group, as well as a visit to The First Emperor: The Terra Cotta Army exhibit at the British Museum, lunch and a reception. This is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with other alums, touch base with leading scholars, and participate in discussions about this critical interaction between China and the west. The day long program, beginning at 9 am and concluding at 5 pm, features:
